Native American Wellness Project
Description: This project provides a multifaceted approach to wellness support for NA/AI and Indigenous identifying students at Berkeley by offering access to a variety of wellness resources. It seeks to bring NA/AI students into spaces that expose them to mental and physical resources targeted to the interest and benefit of NA/AI and indigenous students.

Restorative Justice Student Leaders Program, RJ Center Berkeley
Description: The Restorative Justice Center brings people together to build community and address harm through community-based circle processes. Funding will be used to hire RJ Student Leaders from many different campus communities, training them in community building and restorative responses to conflict and harm.

Menstrual Equity Pilot Program
Description: This project seeks to address the unique challenges of bleeding on campus. It does so by providing free and accessible menstrual products. Working with the custodial department, this program will install, maintain and restock the bathroom dispensers in instructional and recreational buildings.

PATH to Care Advocate Positions
Description: The PATH to Care Center leads the efforts to transform the UC Berkeley campus into a community that is free of sexual violence, sexual harassment, intimate partner violence and stalking through prevention, advocacy, training and healing. Funding is used towards a full-time confidential advocate for the PATH to Care Center, including salary, benefits, and CPI.

Lean on Me at Berkeley
Description: This proposal aims to lower the barriers of entry for students seeking mental health resources by building non-crisis, peer-to-peer text lines on campus. Lean on Me at Berkeley trains student volunteers in active listening and provides confidential and easily accessible emotional support. Funding is used for trainings, team building and marketing.

Land as Wellness
Description: Land as Wellness uses gardening as a therapeutic exercise. This project will create and expand the community of student farmers, gardeners and wellness coordinators, and improve distribution of food and herbal medicine on campus. Funding will be used to hire a staff position and several student positions to help develop the program.

Healthy Grocery Regrowth
Description: The Student Food Collective seeks to address the need for affordable, healthy, and ethically-sourced food in the immediate campus area. Funding will be used to hire a student staff to help lead reopening and healthy growth for the Student Food Collective.

Haas Mental Health Initiative
Description: This project is a multicomponent effort intended to develop an ecosystem in which full time MBA Haas students are more fluent in mental health topics and empowered to pursue the mental health support they might need. Funding is used to host workshops and invite guest speakers that are knowledgeable about navigating higher education and mental health.

Bear Pantry
Description: The Bear Pantry has been a volunteer-run food pantry at the University Village (UVA) since 2009. Funding will be used to hire a case manager to run the daily operations, collect data on patrons and their needs, build community partnerships and resources for students residing in UVA as well as student parents living off campus. Additional funding will go directly to purchase food for distribution, tech needed for data collection and hiring student staff.

UVA Outdoor Fitness
Description: This project calls to upgrade and create outdoor multi-purpose fitness spaces at University Village (UVA) in order to serve graduate, undergraduate, and student-parent families.

A Virtual Portal to Wellness: Connecting Students to Resources
Description: This proposal funds a comprehensive virtual student well being online platform designed to proactively engage students with informative content that educates and directs students to campus resources.

Transgender Student Wellness Initiative (TSWI)
Description: TSWI is a student-led effort that centers and supports the lived experiences of Cal's transgender and nonbinary students. Funding will be used for weekly and monthly opportunities for trans and nonbinary students to build relationships with their peers, receive material resource support and support trans student retention at Cal.
